I picked a book called Poor People and Library Services, edited by Karen M. Venturella. I chose it because it offers a variety of essays about library services around the country that have been successfully implemented to serve poverty-stricken areas. It sounds incredibly useful to me because finding ways to be accessible to an entire community, and not just the select crowd who is able to get to the local public library, is imperative.
